GO = Group Order
GOM = Group Order Manager
What is a GO?
For small businesses, the prices to ship internationally tend to be very high, which leads us to charge customers an equally high amount in order to do so.
When a GO is organised with Faraway Pins, all orders from the participating country are prepacked individually, accumulated, then shipped in bulk to the GOM located in the participating country. The GOM then proceeds to drop all orders at the local post office (in this case, in the US) to be shipped to respective customers domestically.
Why a GO?
As mentioned prior, shipping internationally for small businesses tend to be very costly. This was further worsened along with the increased fuel prices and inflation. Organising GO's ensures a lower shipping price!
When shipping from Malaysia (where Faraway Pins is located 👋 ) in bulk, the price is lower when divided between multiple customers. And when shipping within the USA, customers are able to enjoy lower domestic rates. Despite adding both rates from these 2 shipments, the prices are still lower than shipping individually and directly from Malaysia.
How does it work?
In this GO, you will only have to make a payment ONCE per order. This one payment for your order covers all shipping expenses from Malaysia, all the way to your doorstep in the US.
Here's the step-by-step:
1. You make an order as per usual at this shop site, using the discount code (USAGOSHIPPING) at checkout. This is the only and final payment you will ever need to make for your order.
2. Your order will be packed in your respective, individual parcel, with a US domestic shipping label on it, as you have already paid for this at the initial checkout. So please make sure your entered address and contact details are correct and active! If there are any changes to these details, please contact me immediately so that I can make those changes to your order.
3. Your order, (along with the others’ orders which were packed the same way as yours) will be shipped in one bulk box from Malaysia (where Faraway Pins is based) to the USA. Like the US domestic shipping labels, the bulk shipment has already been paid for at the intital checkout.
4. The bulk shipment will be delivered to my friend located in the US, who will be dropping all parcels off at the post office. As all parcels already have the US domestic shipping labels on them (as mentioned in Step 2), no further payment is required.
5. And voila! Your parcel is delivered to you!
This means that throughout this entire GO, you will not be dealing with the GOM! I will be the only one contacting them, so you can just kick back and relax after making your order 😊

- When participating in a USA GO, you will be saving $4.50 in shipping fees! The standard shipping fee (sans GO) for the US starts from $13.50, depending on what you order.
- Group orders to the USA will only be shipped once every month OR every two months, depending on the volume of orders I receive. This is to ensure the promised lower price.
- GO's tend to take longer for you to receive, depending on when you order. Shipping will take up to 2-3 weeks to arrive with you after your order's been shipped in bulk from Malaysia. Your US tracking number will be given before the bulk shipment arrives in the US, so please don't worry if it doesn't start tracking immediately.
- GO is allowed on every item except heavy tufted goods. Any item above 600g per unit or in volumetric weight will not be eligible for GO. This info will be stated in the listing's description box, and any intended GO order containing ineligible item(s) will be canceled after I contact you~
- Pre-order enamel pin orders will be considered as GOs, so don't forget to enter the code!
- This isn't a big deal but packaging is prettier when you're ordering via GO lol~ When using the cheapest shipping option when shipping directly from Malaysia, it's compulsory for me to use their provided parcel bags rather than my own brand's, so the unboxing process isn't as nice as it should be 😂
